Privacy Policy
Last updated: 25 August 2026
This policy explains what personal information Organised by Laura Anne collects, why it is collected, how it is used and stored, and the rights you have over it. It applies to this website and to the decluttering and home organisation services provided.
Who is responsible for your information
Organised by Laura Anne is a sole trader based in Chelmsford, Essex, and is the data controller for the personal information described in this policy. For any question about privacy or your data, get in touch:
- Email: organisedbylauraanne@gmail.com
- Phone: 07305 648513
What information is collected
Information you provide through the contact form. When you send an enquiry, the form asks for your name, email address, phone number and the content of your message. All four fields are required so that a reply can be sent and the enquiry understood.
Information you provide directly. If you email, call or message on social media, whatever you choose to include in that message is collected.
Information shared during a consultation or booking. At the free initial consultation a short document is completed together, covering your goals and the type of support you are looking for. For a booking this may extend to your address and any access or scheduling details needed to carry out the work. Photographs of a space are only taken, kept or shared with your explicit permission.
Technical information.This website is hosted on Cloudflare's network, which processes your IP address and basic request details in order to serve pages and protect the site from abuse.
No special category data, financial account details or information about children is deliberately collected through this website. Please do not include such information in a message sent through the contact form.
Why it is used, and the lawful basis
- To respond to your enquiry and arrange a consultation— taking steps at your request prior to entering a contract.
- To deliver the service you have booked, including planning the visit and agreeing travel costs — performance of a contract.
- To keep the website secure and prevent spam and abuse— legitimate interests in protecting the site and the business.
- To keep records required for tax and accounting— compliance with a legal obligation.
- To use before-and-after photographs in marketing— consent, which you may withdraw at any time.
Your details are not sold, rented or traded, and you will not be added to a marketing mailing list from a website enquiry alone.
Who your information is shared with
A small number of service providers process information on our behalf, under contract and only for the purposes set out here:
- Cloudflare— website hosting, the Turnstile anti-spam check on the contact form, and delivery of the enquiry email.
- Google— the Gmail account where enquiry emails are received and stored.
Information may also be disclosed where there is a legal obligation to do so. Some of these providers operate servers outside the UK; where information is transferred internationally it is protected by the safeguards required under UK data protection law, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.
Cookies and similar technologies
This site uses no advertising or analytics cookies, and no visitor tracking or profiling is carried out.
Cloudflare Turnstile is used on the contact form to tell real visitors apart from automated spam. It may store a short-lived token in your browser to record that the check has been passed. This is strictly necessary for the form to work and is not used to track you across websites.
How long information is kept
This information may be retained to make future bookings easier for returning clients, and will not be kept for longer than is reasonably necessary.
How information is kept safe
The website is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection, and enquiries are sent to a password-protected email account. Access is limited to Laura Anne. No system can be guaranteed completely secure, but these measures are reviewed as the business changes.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal information held about you;
- have inaccurate information corrected;
- ask for your information to be deleted;
- ask that use of your information be restricted;
- object to processing carried out on the basis of legitimate interests;
- ask for your information in a portable format;
- withdraw consent at any time, where consent is the basis for use.
To exercise any of these rights, email organisedbylauraanne@gmail.com. A response will be provided within one month, and there is no charge.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how your information has been handled, please get in touch so it can be put right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK supervisory authority, at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
